Nancy, you are so CUTE:

Ok. You and your adorable ned to give me a minute to breathe. A second? No? Well, that's what I get for flooding, abusing my visual cortex with you every possible second for the past 5 weeks straight (I saw them 5 weeks ago today). Recovery is a moot point.

Hm. What is new? Well, I am still nutso off of my rocker for Nancy. But that isn't actually news is it? Lol.

...and then an angel came down and saved us all (with her rock!)...

Warning. Nancy is About to Throw Her Cuteness At You! You May Want to Use Some Protective Lenses Right About Now. )

Oy. I must go. I really need to get on here before I only have 5 minutes of internet time left.

Ok so no time to talk about stuff but I do have time to post this thing I've been working on since the beginning of August.

I slightly randomly chose 6 of my favorite girls and then did a little write up thing on them. They each get a paragraph..or part about their character and then them themselves. And then a quick Q&A type thing. Enjoy. And if anyone decides to do something similar drop me a comment so I can check it out. :)

I haven't been on since...I don't even know when the last time was. Not much has happened...because I'm boring but Sara comes home in 4 days!!! YAY! And I TOTALLY saw Heart in concert last night. Oh yes.

Lelainia called me on Thursday and was like, "Dude, Cheap Trick, Journey and Heart are coming to the Sleep Train. Do you want to go?" I have no money but she talked me into letting her pay until I get a job and can pay her back. Cheap Trick was pretty good but I was there for Heart, Nancy Wison being one of my biggest loves and favorite people on the freaking planet. There weren't anymore General Admission seats so I got to get a ticket for the closer seats. :D I was in Section 209, Row 28, Seat 1. Nancy was pretty much DIRECTLY in front of me..obviously down 27 rows but I had a beautiful view..and there actually wasn't a seat in front of mine so I didn't have anyone in my way. Huzzah. They started off with “Wild Child” from the Brigade album. And I literally started crying when I first saw Nancy. Not as bad as when I went to see Fleetwood Mac in concert (I started crying when we saw the VENUE. Like in the distance. Lol.) She was SO. GORGEOUS. Holy crap. Her hair is redder than it’s ever been and she, wow. I don’t even have words. Out of this world with the gorgeousness. For seriously. I brought my sisters binoculars so I could see really good when they didn’t have her up on the big screen and oy she was adorable. Her little jumps and kicks she does are just that much cuter when you see them in real life. Blimey.

They went on to do “Magic Man”, “Never” (which was more acoustic than usual), “Straight On” (which is usually acoustic live but they rocked it out with some beautiful electric guitar), “These Dreams” (where Nancy played mandolin and sang lead. YAY!), “Alone” (which was also more acoustic than usual), “Rain On Me” (Zeppelin cover if I remember correctly) and “Barracuda”. Then they left us and I was sad but I knew we had encores coming so I was fine. :P. “Going to California” (also a Zepp cover) and “Crazy On You” were the encores. They usually do Zepp’s “Rock n’ Roll” and they didn’t this time. :( But “Crazy On You” was insane and awesome and Nancy played the MOST BEAUTIFUL intro on acoustic. Holy magnolias batman. I was watching through my binoculars and low-and-behold the only lame thing that happened during their set, (besides the asshole sitting next to me who wouldn’t stop making fun of them) someone walked into my view RIGHT when Nancy does her big kick and when I looked at the screen they had just cut away from her, like, as her foot was going into the air. That was pretty stupid. But hey, besides the fact I didn’t get to see her kick that well, and the brain trust who was sitting next to me (he kept clapping REALLY loud/hard and very sarcastically like, “Wow. That was GREAT” and then when they left before the encore he’s all “Aww. Is that it?” in a really condescending tone. I kinda wanted to punch him in the throat and be done with him but that would have required my eyes leaving Nancy and he wasn’t worth it) other than that it was pretty much the second greatest night of my life (the best being seeing Stevie).

Ann and Nancy were amazing and definitely the highlight of the show. Journey was good too but I was in so much pain when I went back to sit with my friends in the grass seats I couldn’t stand, and then a huge guy was nice enough to step on the bottom of my spine (which I might add I fractured/broke a couple years ago) and then bend down to tell me he was sorry while STILL stepping on my spine. Seriously guys. No effing joke. There were some exceptionally stupid people at this concert. So many people were getting loaded, right there in front of everyone and their kids and they didn’t care. I’ve never been to an outdoor concert (all the others I’ve been to were at Arco Arena) and I don’t plan on going to anymore outdoor ones in the future. Unless of course Heart or Fleetwood Mac/Stevie come back then I will but I will make sure to save up my money so I can have impossibly close seats and then I wouldn’t really give a damn what everyone else was doing. Lol.

Ok. This needs to be quick because I'm leaving Lelainia's here soon.

House came back. YAY! And the premiere was wonderful. The second ep was pretty good not one of my favorites. Bones has had some amazing episodes. "The Finger in the Nest". Thanks Bones, for taking my heart and stomping on it. Repeatedly. With very large heart-stomping boots. I appreciate it. And then that song "Set Free" by Katie Grey at the end of "The Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond" made me lose my mind a little bit. Beautiful.

Hmm. The Emmys happened. And Mariska, Hugh AND House didn't win. LAME. And Lisa was SOO pretty but Guiliana was stupid and then Teri Hatcher came and arrgh.

Wrote this in my phone the day of the Emmy Fashion Police 9/22.

Oh. Lisa.

Breathtaking doesn't even begin to describe it. My heart literally did a somersault when I saw her. But of course, as per usual, we barely got to see her (arrgh Teri Hatcher) and they didn't even talk about her on Fashion Police. When is she going to get the goshdamn attention she deserves?! It almost makes me violent. Seriously. I don't get it. I just can't see why they can't see how amazing she is. I may need to hit someone.

SVU is back. Fringe is FREAKING AWESOME. CSI:NY is back. And I have soo much to say about my lovely shows but I don't have time. I will try to get on sometime this week. Toodles for now.

Don't have enough time to post a complete ramble about the WOWness of last nights Bones but I can say that the new little open-y promo bit that Fox always does with it's shows was...oy. That picture of them lying down with their heads on eachother arms. Phoof. So breathtaking my heart just about gave out. I am convinced that David and Emily are the most beautiful, wildly beautiful creatures ever imagined. The level of lovely they have been able to achieve, it's staggering.

If anyone has a big HQ still/cap of that shot...or multiple caps..like the whole thing and they could lead me in the direction of them, I would be the happiest clam on the planet. :-D

I was just rudely interrupted while trying to find a picture of that snippit. And by rudely I mean it slammed be in the face and I was completely ill-prepared.

*headdesk*

So I made my Mom watch a ton of Angel, Buffy and Bones episodes this weekend. I seared my finger on a pan and I've had to have an ice pack taped around it for days so I kind of guilt tripped her into watching with me but after watching a few things she admitted to me that after seeing every Bones now she is so completely in love with David she can't even comprehend it. And Emily is making her a little crazy too. Obviously I've known she would fall for them because hello, who can resist but it was very nice to hear her say it and without me even asking or pulling it out of her. :)

Toodles all.

Firstly,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID DUCHOVNY!!!!! :D

I haven't got to celebrate yet because I had to take an early bus home from my Dads to see my sister. But I am going back out here soon and I have muy planned. :)

I went to The X-Files movie one last time on Tuesday. I wrote this while sitting in the theatre waiting for the movie to start.

6:45pm. My last time to sit in this theatre, this seat and experience the wondrous beauty that is The X-Files movie. I am both excited and sad to see it again, this 4th time. I am excited because it has been a week since I last saw it. A very long week…more like a year. And I am sad to see it again because it will be the last, at least until the DVD comes out. But mostly I am sad because my beautiful movie that I love so much still hasn’t won the hearts of millions like I thought it would. Like I know it deserved and deserves to. Oh X-Files movie, will anyone love you the way I do? Arrgh. When did seeing 2 of my most beauteous loves on the big screen become a thing of sadness and not jump out of my shoes happiness? Enough. We are going to relish this event for we might never have this experience again. Yes. I am happy. I love this movie and that is all that matters.

7:01. 14 minutes to bliss. I fear I may cry even more this time. They are having that effect on me again. Those subtle nuances and faint little expressions are having a very significant effect. The littlest things are bringing me to tears again. Gillian has this way of exuding angst and heartache that just breaks my heart. I am on my way to that level of crazy I had forgotten I am capable of. There is no hope for me.

7:11. Yay! Take me to the insanity and set me free in a crazy field of flowers. I don’t ever want to come back. That is where I want to be.

7:15. Bring it on.

There’s no holding back the years. There’s no holding back the tears.

No, I didn’t hold back the tears. I cried more this time than I did all the others combined. I think it was partly because it was leaving but more-so I think it was because I had been away for a while and came back with a clear head and got to just take everything in. And the tears flow down…down and down.

So I was reading "The Rough Guide to Chick Flicks" today and found a Gillian mention. Thought I'd share. :)

Lit/Flick Crossover --- Edith Wharton
Her first big seller, The House of Mirth (1905), a painful account of a scarlet woman's attempts to find security in polit society, was transferred to stage the next year and filmed - with a new, happy ending - in 1918. In 2000 Terence Davies directed a superb adaptation: starring the luminous Gillian Anderson as tragic social climber Lily Bart...it's a sombre yet exquisite film, all elegance and claustrophobia. Pgs 227 - 228.

I was happy that they gave it a good review because I for one LOVED this movie and Gillian in it but I've read some not so positive reviews about it and her. Anywho, thought I'd share something that made me smile. :)

All for now.

Music of the Moment: Broken --- Unkle [XF2 Soundtrack]

....so my title is the name of the Dave Matthews Band song that Stevie covered in her Soundstage but right now with this X-Files movie I really am "tired and twisted" (I've still been dreaming about it so much and it wakes me up in a twisted, excited tizzy and I am so tired because of it) but you know...it's the only way I'd like to be. :)

Ok. I wrote this on July 30th...and like, 6:54pm and I haven't been here to post it until now...more X-Files movie rambling...

I am failing to understand or accept how people aren’t loving and appreciating the beauty of The X-Files movie as much as I am. I touched on this the other day but I’m saying it again. I don’t think people are grasping the magnitude of this most amazing gift of a movie based on a television series 6 years after the series left the air. And then I start thinking about how hard Chris fought for this, for us. For years. This bullshit he went through with Fox, not only for the people who were involved in the series but he also fought tooth and nail to give us what we have so long begged and hoped for. And then we decide the movie isn’t good enough? Isn’t up to our standards in some way? I, for one, think it is incredibly selfish and rude of us to take this momentous occasion for granted. In the end we’re only screwing ourselves. Okay, so maybe this movie isn’t quite as good as the first but it wasn’t bad by any means at all. And the lack of people going to see this just makes it less and less likely that we might get a 3rd movie. Like Chris said, “we need a homerun”. Well we are far from it and with the “bad reviews” on top of that, the lot of us that are loving and appreciating this movie, the true X-Philes, are going to be unfairly screwed out of a possible 3rd film, out of the possibility of being blessed with another wonderful reunion with these characters we love so much. But you know, if we are meant to get a 3rd movie I think we will. Chris is as loyal to us as we are to him. If he wants to give it to us I know he will do everything in his power to make it happen. And so will David and Gillian. I believe that those of us who continue to love and support this show and these people with all of our hearts, we deserve it. I may only be one small person but I have done as much as I could to help this movie do great. I went and continue to go as many times as I can afford. More times than I can afford. And I have encouraged anyone and everyone I could to go see it, not wait for the DVD, to go and experience it in it’s most beautiful and impactful form. And I know there are plenty of you guys who have done the same. And I believe in my heart that Chris knows how much we love these people and how much we have done and will continue to do for them. And I can only hope that in the end, that will be what we win with. We’ve earned it. We deserve it. And so do they.

I think if we keep believing...it will happen.

Ok. So I bought Gillian's Maxim:

But the person I bought it from has yet to send me her address so I am up in the air waiting and WAITING for my beautiful magazine to be on it's way to me. *Sigh*

Here's another thing I typed the other day before my computer died. I was sitting in the theatre on my 2nd go at the XF movie, listening to "Dreams" by Deep Dish feat. Stevie Nicks and I was picturing the movie to the song and it was like getting kicked in the head. If I could make videos, I think that would be the first. Maybe it's just me..but I see such a great connection between that song and the movie. Like whoa. :)

Hello new favorite video. How are you today?

Good stuff. I am a sucker for a boyband song for my favorite couple. I know. I'm lame. Lol. :D

Funny. I was telling Laney about "The End" and "The Beginning"...I had made a Top 50 Episodes of: The X-Files list and she wanted me to describe each one...and I was telling her how the first movie is set in between those episodes...(this was back when I was going to show her the first movie...about a week before XF2 came out)...and so I was explaining the plot...and she goes, "Niki, if it goes between it should have been called, [dramatic voice] The X-Files: The Middle". LMAO. I just about died. :P

Oh X-Files...how you so quickly take over all of my brain functions and invade them with your awesomeness. I succumb...so willingly..and everything in my life takes a back seat.

It's happening again. It's been a while since I went nutso and watched X-Files episodes at all hours of the day, night and everywhere in between. And I'm getting 2 Gillian magazines and I just framed the inner page from her Rolling Stone and the cover of the one where they're in bed together because it was unframed when the glass broke and I never framed it again...bad fan...and oh boy...ramble...

Ok. Real quick like we are double dosing the video of the day..

X-FILES MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I. LOVE. YOU.

So I saw it the first showing on Friday...and then I saw it again the first showing on Saturday...I was going to see it again the first showing on Sunday...but I was occupado. So I am going to see it the first showing of tomorrow. Be still my heart with all the awesome that was this movie. Wow. And *tears* because the news people called it a "disappointment" because it only made $10million which basically means at say $5 a ticket...only 2million people went to see it. That is crap. But it's stupid Dark Knights fault. I bet...a load of money...if they hadn't come out so close together X-Files would have done a whole lot better. Sad me. Anyway...better stuff. So Laney and I made t-shirts...because, the way she said it, "we're awesome". And we got to the theatre at 10:30am..the movie was at 12:30pm so we sat underneath the poster and then this guy Dave who works there sees us and says something to his friend about " we should get a picture of the diehards". Lol. Anyway..we go in and sit in the 4th row...I'm in the 7th seat facing the screen..more on the left...there's 14 seats so..yeah. I make Laney go ask if we can buy a poster and the manager comes back with her and says he was going to give us one anyway...as long as we take a picture with him. Lol. So we take a picture...which I HATE doing...but I get my X-Files poster so hello...worth it.

The only way it would have been cooler is if it were this poster:

Ok. So. Bits of complaints here....where oh where was this scene:

Oh poo. I need to go...computer needs to be fixed. More tomorrow.

And today I found out I suck hugely at life. Majorly.

Gillian is FINALLY in an American magazine and I go and miss the darn thing!!! Elisha Cuthbert was on the cover (Maxim from May 2008) and she's Sara's...and I was going to look at it...I don't know why it just called to me..and then I didn't. Lame me. :(

This, ladies and gentlemen is how my brain decides to tell me things. Seriously.

XF Movie blog - real movie, ending, "is that it?", alt end dream: full movie, love scene spliced with surgery. What is treal? vibe. Beautiful shadowy-outline lighting in bed. Car stops, Scully runs...scene through house...bits of kisses nad clothes, flash to and fro...

Forgot to take this off private...this post is from July 19th....

I am soo totally at Lelainia’s house right now. She is in the shower so I jumped on her computer to write a quick…or not quick post. Now I tried to do this yesterday…and I had the biggest post ever and then her computer froze and it all died. Well, we are using Word now…and we shall try again.

I got here on Thursday and we didn’t do too much that day because we were getting tired. We went to Barnes and Noble so I could get the Gillian Esquire UK:

…but alas it was still the July issue and they don’t get the August issue until July 27th so…yeah. That was slightly sad. And then they didn’t have Lisa’s Modern Dog either so then I was double sad. Anywho…we cam home and then we were getting tired so we got our PJs on and were brushing our teeth when this cute guy from across the way comes over and wants us to come hang out for a while. Lelainia sprung awake and that made me spring awake so we decided to go. We listened to some Bob Marley and Eekamouse (horrible sounded-out spelling) and had a pretty good time.

Yesterday we went to this awesome antique store called The Attic and I found a Heart vinyl… “Heart Greatest Hits/Live”…for only $3 and it’s in pretty good condition. Score. Well that store was awesome AND slightly mean because it had hoards of super duper way-too-cool Marilyn Monroe stuff…like a life size stand up from Seven Year Itch. Wow. I really need a job that gives me lots of money…and I need to go get everything they have. It’s wrong. They have these big paintings of Marilyn, Elvis, James Dean and this dude who’s name I can’t remember…maybe Humphrey Bogart or something…but there’s all these different ones and they are soo cool. I needed air after being in this store. It was that happy.

Then we asked if those dudes wanted to go play some pool and so we went to this bar called “The Oasis” and played awhile. Now, it was fun but something went on that I’m not quite ready to talk about out in Internet land. But just to give everyone a basic jist…I am the least experienced person on the planet…I’m 19 but I might as well be 12. I am in such a jumbled, twisted mess right now because I became that girl last night…that girl I’m not and never wanted to be…ever. So I am not in the best place right now…at all and I literally made myself sick thinking about this person I was and I am so ashamed of this behavior I was able to achieve. And all I can think about is my little sister and what she is going to think of me. We were out from like 6 something to a little after 10 and she kept calling Lelainia’s cell phone but we didn’t hear it and she left the saddest little message I’ve ever heard. She was so worried because I hadn’t called to say goodnight and she was staying up until 1am for me…to get a Burn Notice episode…and when I talked to her this morning she said she kept waking up last night and crying because she was so worried about me. So all of this combined into my day from hell…and my feeling like hell and arrgh…..I am moving on to other things I rambled about yesterday because they are fun and will make me feel better as opposed to worse.

X-Files movie in 6 days!!!! OMG!YAY!

I am so beyond comprehensionably excited. So much so I can’t spell anymore. Lol. I went to the theatre on Wednesday to make sure they were getting it the day it comes out because our theatre is way lame and we miss out on so many movies I can’t stand it and if we weren’t getting X-Files not only would my heart break but I might have to bust some asses. Haha. So I go and the girl says she’s pretty sure they’re getting it the day it comes out so she goes and checks and they are. I kind of run/skip to the car with glee and this dude who was sitting behind me when I was asking the girl looks at me like I’m a nut-job…which is fair because for X-Files I completely am. So even more YAY! than before because I know it’s coming and the crazy can ensue. WOOT!

I conned Laney and into going with me but then on Thursday Lelainia said she might like to go with me when I go to see it the second or third time. I am slightly fearing that my crazy might frighten her because…well, she has been there since the root of my nuttiness. We met in 7th grade and I was insane for Stevie in 8th and then so on and so forth down the line of crazy…SVU, Crossing Jordan, until I reached the beautiful X-Files level of crazy and was never the same. She knows…but she doesn’t know, you know? So this should be an experience.

I mean, that first time I see David and Gillian’s beautiful faces on that big screen…I am going to cry. Really. Not funny. And I feel I will squee like no one has ever squeed before. I pity the poor people who are in the theatre with me. They’re going to hear this crazy person sitting in the very front row. losing her mind. It ain’t gonna be pretty but it is going to ROCK.

Oh ramble. I apologize guys but I have so much to say…

The X-Files: I Want to Believe…I’m assuming in aliens but for me it’s more like “I want to believe” that Mulder and Scully are going to get it on and be together forever. LOL. I dream of this movie and the amazing it is going to achieve. And I, like every hopelessly, helplessly shippifying fan, am hoping, praying, desperately pleading with the heavens that we get those beautiful moments and a knock-it-out-of-the-park kiss that we absolutely deserve. Although Chris was cryptic as always (in the TV Guide article) he did give us hope. “[The movie is] honest to where they’d be six years after we last saw them.” By the looks of it that means apart at the beginning but they will be reconnecting (if you know what I mean *wink**wink*) by the end. But I am preparing myself for the possibility that the kiss I so desperately seek may end up like the first movie. As Rob Bowman put it (when quoting Chris Carter) we ‘got a kiss’ in “that frustrating X-Files fashion”. No Chris, we didn’t you butthead. The intention of a kiss + their mouths touching (when Mulder performs CPR) does not in fact nor will it ever = a kiss. It equals a rip off and a very sad shipper or more accurately, a mob of very sad shippers. If we get screwed again (...suddenly something tells me we won’t. I mean, it’s been years and taking into account how they left us. It would be cruel. And even though being a Mulder/Scully shipper has been a pain in the butt at times they’ve never been outwardly mean to us) but if we do…heads are gonna roll.

I am seriously in a ramble-tastic mood. Wow.

Random. But I was watching “The Unnatural” the other day...among lots of others…but that last scene is like axe murder on the shipper brain. For shiz. Not cool. Only, really...yes….we love it.

Well Lelainia is out of the shower but I meant to type this yesterday too so I shall try and type fast. Here is my “Hot Sci-Fi People” list I spoke of the other day.

COUNTDOWN

Twenty-six interstellar bodies of sci-fi who rock my world.

(I may have interpreted sci-fi a bit loosely to include shows like Charmed, Buffy/Angel which may fit better in the like, fantasy category but…oh well.)

(…and btw...not everyone gets a paragraph because some of these I really don’t watch enough to write something clever…)

Girls

1. Gillian Anderson, The X-Files
She has this sweet, kind of oblivious sexy, like she has no idea how endlessly alluring she is. Which ends up making her even sexier. Dangerous curves and flaming red hair make this G-woman a veritable force of buttoned-up hotness. The looks added on top of the intelligence gives new meaning to the phrase “smart is sexy”.

2. Carla Gugino, Threshold
Curve-loving suits and a penchant for flashing just about every government badge make this beauty a super sexy alternative to the in-thin 20something “divas” of today.

3. Jolene Blalock, Star Trek: Enterprise

4. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy the Vampire Slayer

5. Billie Piper, Doctor Who

6. Christina Cox, Blood Ties
Sexy PI teams up with a sexy vampire to tussle and tangle with the vilest of beasties Canada has to offer. The premise of the show is even sexy. And its leading lady is even sexier. A rockin’ bod and kick ass fightin’ skills make this feisty former cop damn near too hot to handle.

7. Alyssa Milano, Charmed

8. Tricia Helfer, Battlestar Gallactica

9. Charisma Carpenter, Angel

10. Amy Acker, Angel

11. Lena Headey, Terminator

12. Jeri Ryan, Star Trek: Voyager

13. Eliza Dushku, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Sometimes you need to have a little Faith. Especially if Faith is the no-holds-barred beauty saving your ass from a mess of vamps. A “take no crap” attitude and a far from adolescent wardrobe give this brunette bombshell an air of mystery. And when Faith turns on a dime and goes to the dark side...the sexy factor shoots even higher.

Guys

1. David Boreanaz, Angel
The vampire with the face of an angel. Truer words have never left anyone’s lips. It’s the mixture of the danger and the sweetness that is impossible to resist. He can save your life or take it just as easily. And when Angel becomes Angelus…forget it. Terrifying sexy are the only words that spring to mind and they couldn’t touch it if they tried.

2. David Duchovny, The X-Files
Piercing eyes and razor wit make Fox Mulder the sexiest FBI agent…well, ever. Hot enough on his own but when teamed up with his beautiful partner; prepare for a wildfire.

3. Joe Flanigan, Stargate: Atlantis

4. John Schneider, Smallville
We only saw him shirtless once (Hello, Red) but superman’s dearly departed Dad is a hunk in every sense of the word. Those muscles, that smile, and one beautiful shirt-lacking scene…I’m not the only one who swoons at the drop of a dime.

5. Jamie Bamber, Battlestar Gallactica

6. Jensen Ackles, Supernatural

7. Jared Padalecki, Supernatural

8. Brian Van Holt, Threshold

9. Dylan Neal, Blood Ties

10. James Marsters, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Evil vampire gets a chip in his brain and can’t help but play nice. Hilarity and smoldering hotness ensues. The white-blonde hair and the countless shots of him wearing…erm…well, nothing…make this girl want to take a walk on the wild side. And the bite marks would be worth every minute of it.

11. Paul Blackthorne, The Dresden Files

12. Kyle Schmid, Blood Ties

13. Tom Welling, Smallville
